Mr. Anderson has authored and co-authored numerous news articles and technical white papers on the effects of intermittent faults and its connection to No Fault Found (NFF) published in the American Society of Naval Engineers Journal, Military Logistics Magazine, Aerospace Manufacturing & Design Magazine, HeliMX Magazine, Avionics Magazine and AMT Magazine. 

Mr. Anderson served in the United States Army; he is a member of the Army Aviation Association of America, a member of the American Legion, a member of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) and a Charter member of the Association of Airworthiness Professionals (AAP).  Mr. Anderson is also on the Board of Directors for the Defense Industry Alliance (DIA) and the National Small Business Association (NSBA) Leadership Council. 

Mr. Anderson has been honored twice as a Sales and Marketer of the Year in Utah and honored as a Forty Under 40 Business Professional.

Dr. Deshpande has extensive experience in working with companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 5 in fields ranging from automotive, aerospace, retail, food and manufacturing verticals delivering business analysis; designing and developing custom data products for implementing Business Intelligence, Data Mining and predictive analytics solutions. He was the founder of SimaFore, a predictive analytics consulting company, which was recently acquired by Soliton Inc., a provider of testing solutions for the semiconductor industry.

He is the co-author of book on Predictive Analytics and Data Mining and the co-chair of
the annual Predictive Analytics World - Manufacturing, conference in Chicago. He has a Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon and an MBA from Ross School of Business - Michigan. He is currently working with IBM's Watson Cognitive Center of Competence.

John H. Fleming, Ph.D., joined Gallup in 1993. Dr. Fleming's consulting insights help Gallup's global clients improve customer engagement and enhance business performance. He is coauthor of the book Human Sigma: Managing the Employee-Customer Encounter.

Dr. Fleming was instrumental in the development of Gallup's CE11 and CE3 customer engagement programs. He is Chief Scientist of Gallup's Marketplace Practice and HumanSigma Consulting. The Marketplace Practice sets worldwide standards for Gallup's brand measurement and customer engagement management applications. Dr. Fleming also leads Gallup's Business Impact Analysis consulting group and serves as an internal and external consultant on issues related to research design, analysis and complex modeling.

Dr. Fleming coauthored an article on Gallup's HumanSigma model in the Harvard Business Review. He has published more than 20 research articles and book chapters in such prestigious refereed journals as the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Social Cognition, Journal of Experimental Social Psychology and Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin. A major review of Dr. Fleming's research and theoretical contributions was published in Advances in Experimental Social Psychology.

Before joining Gallup, Dr. Fleming spent six years as a member of the psychology faculty at the University of Minnesota. He received his doctorate in social psychology and master's degree in psychology from Princeton University and his bachelor’s degree from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.

He also co-chairs the Catapult Program powered by the Community Foundation of Southeast Michigan that makes grants to emerging & innovative non-profits in the region. Adrian teaches venture capital course in the University of Michigan College of Engineering and Law School.

Prior to Mercury Fund, Adrian was the Managing Director of Detroit Innovate and the First Step Fund based in Detroit, Michigan.

He also co-founded three software companies: Shepherd IS, a fleet management software company, Sidecar, the first US-based instant rideshare company, and Flocktag, automated marketing software company for retailers and restaurants.

Adrian also spent several years Ricardo Inc. Ricardo is a global engineering consultancy focusing on the automotive, cleantech, military and industrial sectors. Adrian was an engine combustion and emissions specialist and led several advanced engine and hybrid powertrain development projects. He left as the Manager of Powertrain Development division which encompassed P&L, engineering and global project responsibilities.

Adrian holds a BSE in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA with High Distinction from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

Dr. James Foster is the Director of Research for the Archer Daniels Midland Company. In this role he is responsible for process development across the corn milling processes including steeping, ethanol fermentation, bioproducts, biodiesel and industrial chemicals production. Jim has numerous publications and 17 patents to his credit and is on the advisory board for the Iowa State University Center for Crops Utilization Research and recently completed two terms on the board the University of Illinois Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering. Additionally he was a keynote speaker at the 2008 AICHE Midwest Regional Conference.

Dr. Arun Gupta is a member of the IBM Watson Cognitive Computing Center of Competence. His specialties are supply chain, machine learning, modeling, and unstructured data analytics. His main area of interest is using cognitive computing in facilitating supply chain transformation and improving operations.

His 25+ years of experience in chemical, communication, consulting, education, FMCPG, hi-tech, and manufacturing industries has given him the opportunity to look at transformation and improvement opportunities across multiple dimensions. His research with NCSU College of Management on various aspects of supply chain has resulted in a supply chain maturity model and, recently, a risk prediction model.

He is a co-author of a book on Purchase Order Management. He has a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

Mike started his venture career at Brand Equity Ventures, a fund focused on software, digital media and consumer Internet opportunities. Mike's investments at Brand Equity Ventures included Retail Solutions (acquired by VeriSign) and MaxPreps (acquired by CBS). Reed has more than 20 years of extensive hands-on experience in engineering design, construction, commissioning and operations, with an emphasis on power generating plants for various OEMs. For the past 5 years, he has been actively involved in Remote Online Diagnostic Monitoring of power plants both domestically and internationally. Reed is currently responsible for the implementation and optimization of Avantis PRiSM predictive asset analytics solutions with clients globally.

Reed earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and a Master of Science in Systems Management from the University of Southern California. He is also a veteran of the United States Army.

Jon Riley is the Vice President of Digital Manufacturing at the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences (NCMS). At the NCMS, he is responsible for identifying partnerships and alliance opportunities to help U.S. manufacturers remain competitive in the global market. To accomplish this, a key element of his strategy is to make advanced development tools such as high performance computing tools, used for evaluating and simulating product designs during the development stage, available to manufacturers of all sizes.

Jon has extensive experience in the areas of R&D, High Performance Computing, business development, design methodologies and strategies along with a clear vision and strong understanding of the benefits that high performance computing will bring to manufacturing in the coming years. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the areas of virtual and physical product development, design and validation.

Prior to his position at the NCMS, he spent 13 years at L&L Products, Inc, a successful Tier I automotive supplier, as an engineering manager responsible for their Composite Body Solutions product line, used for a wide variety of crashworthiness and NVH applications. During this time Jon led a corporate global initiative to evaluate and implement required resources for the virtual development of these products including people, hardware and software.

Prior to L&L, Jon worked as a dynamics technical specialist in the aerospace industry and in the vehicle safety group at Ford Motor Company. He earned his B.S and M.S. degree in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.

As the leader of R&D for the Siemens PLM Omneo organization, Mr. Semmes is responsible for all technical aspects of our big data, SaaS offering. We follow the scrum methodology to develop microservices around a Hadoop and Solr OSS stack to enable descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics on contextualized, customer data lakes.

Prior to joining Siemens PLM, Mr. Semmes held various software development leadership positions for commercially available BIM and PLM software products in the AEC, Aerospace and Defense, Automotive, Industrial Equipment and Shipbuilding industries. He also served as an Aerospace Engineer at Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Systems Company and in the United States Air Force, Aeronautical Systems Division, supporting both the F22 and B2 programs.

Mr. Semmes holds an Aerospace and Ocean Engineering degree from Virginia Tech. He has authored various publications in the field of aerospace propulsion systems and computational fluid dynamics.
