3 ML tracks, only at MLW 2024

June 4-7, Phoenix, Arizona
Join us at Machine Learning Week 2024, featuring three compelling tracks:

Track 1: BizML – Business practice for ML operationalization

Track 2: Tech – Advanced ML methods & MLOps

Track 3: ML Use Cases – Cross-industry deployment

Seize this opportunity to join fellow data scientists and business professionals in exploring the latest ML trends and foster collaborative discussions on ML best practices.

Here are three sample sessions, one from each track:
TRACK 1: How to Attract and Recruit Analytics Talent from Top Universities (especially if you’re not a tech giant)

Competition for top new analytics talent is fierce. While tech and other corporate giants are indeed vacuuming up new grads from top schools, not all great students can or want to go that route. The challenge is to put yourself in a position to attract and land them. It can be done, even if you’re not a well-known brand. In this session, you will learn what works from a leader of the analytics program ranked #2 in the world by QS for the past three years. Even if you are from a giant firm, you’re still competing for talent. You will come away with ideas to help you gain an advantage!
TRACK 2: Lightning Round: Top Tips and Tricks for Machine Learning

Ever wanted some really practical tips and tricks on how to make Machine Learning work for you? Perhaps a little less code and a bit more nuts and bolts? Maybe even some insider insights from a career spanning almost four decades? In this session, you will get lightning-fast, perfectly-practical prediction tips that you can apply right away. You don’t need a technical background for the session, and although practitioners are welcome. You will leave with insights you’re unlikely to hear anywhere else in this entertaining session.
TRACK 3: Catch My Drift? Automating Monitoring ML Model Inputs and Outputs and Sleep Better at Night

How do you know if your models are still in tolerance? How do you know if they are producing the data you expect? In this talk, we will cover the powerful yet easy-to-use tools Great Expectations and Evidently AI for monitoring data quality and model performance so you can set up automated data quality checks and track model performance metrics over time. By the end of the talk, you’ll be able to catch any issues before they become problems, giving you peace of mind and a good night’s sleep.
